Liverpool Mutual Homes
Liverpool Mutual Homes – Liverpool’s largest housing association – owns and manages over 15,300 homes across the City-Region. Established in 2008 after a stock transfer saw it take over Liverpool Council’s remaining residential properties, LMH focuses on quality social and affordable rent homes, over 55s accommodation, temporary housing and Shared Ownership.
The first five years were all about investing to improve existing housing stock and meeting the 135 promises made as part of the transfer agreement. Over £400 million was invested between 2008 and 2013 in stock refurbishment, ensuring each and every LMH home exceeds the Government’s Decent Homes Standard.
LMH’s new-build arm LMH Developments now aims to develop over 350 modern, sustainable and energy efficient homes every year. Ongoing developments include the 150-home Ogden’s Place scheme in Everton and 76 family homes at Notre Dame, under the banner of the Liverpool Housing Partnership.
Profits made across LMH Group are reinvested into schemes that support tenants and communities, address deprivation and promote inclusion.
With experienced housing professional Steve Coffey as Chief Executive, a passionate and determined management board, and a talented and committed team in place, LMH is an organisation that delivers on its promises.
