Customers have put themselves at the front of the queue for the launch of new homes at Knights Park, Woolton, in June.

Would-be home buyers turned up in large numbers to a special preview event at the Crowne Plaza Liverpool John Lennon Airport Hotel, in Speke.

They enjoyed one to one consultations with Redrow sales staff and received detailed information on the soon-to-launch development, including guide prices, a site plan, details of the interior specification and an insight into completion timescales.

Claire Jarvis, sales director said afterwards: “Although we weren’t physically taking reservations on the day, those who attended have armed themselves with all the information they need to ensure they’re in pole position when we do open the doors to our sales centre at Knights Park on June 18.”

With only 21 homes available on the site of the former Watergate School, off Speke Road, Woolton, competition is likely to be intense.

Redrow is indicating prices from £289,995 for a four-bedroom Thirlmere mews property to £399,995 for a four-bedroom detached Cambridge.

They’ll be marketed from an on-site sales office and a three-bedroom detached Warwick view home.

WATCH: Knights Park launch

Knights Park is the first Redrow development to go on sale under the umbrella of the Liverpool Housing Partnership, a unique collaboration between Redrow, the City Council and Liverpool Mutual Homes to deliver a diverse range of 1,500 new homes across the city.

“Our role in the partnership is to deliver high quality private sale housing both to attract new people to live in the city and to prevent others from leaving because they can’t find what they want locally,” Claire explained. “Many of the people we saw at the Crowne Plaza were families committed to staying in the area who previously haven’t been able to find a new home of the calibre they want.

“Knights Park and other Redrow developments in the pipeline will help address this issue.”

Would be home owners who missed out on the pre-launch but still want a chance of owning one of Redrow’s Arts & Crafts influenced Heritage Collection homes in one of South Liverpool’s most sort after suburbs, should register their interest in Knights Park now at or call 0151 306 2161.
