Liverpool Mutual Homes (LMH) is developing proposals to build 145 homes on the cleared site bounded by Edge Lane, Royston Street, Durning Road and Marmaduke Street (next to Bellway Homes’ Williamson Place development).

Why is LMH considering development at Edge Lane?
LMH is looking to develop the site through the Liverpool Housing Partnership, led by Liverpool City Council, to deliver 1,500 new properties across the City.
The development would see LMH invest over £15 million to create 145 high-quality homes.
Grant funding has been secured from the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency, which would contribute towards the cost of the development.
Homes will be available for affordable ownership through the Rent to Buy and Shared Ownership schemes.

Current proposals include:
• 107 apartments (a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes)
• 38 houses (with 2 or 3 bedrooms)
Each home will benefit from an off-road parking space, cycle parking and private amenity space.
