21 homes from Redrow’s Heritage Collection in a mix of three and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached styles, all boasting family friendly features.
Redrow’s Arts & Crafts inspired family homes at Knights Park were the first to launch under the Liverpool Housing Partnership.
Now complete, this development provides an outstanding example of what the partnership has achieved in a relatively short space of time. The premium quality of the properties ensured their popularity and, without doubt, has encouraged more people who work in Liverpool to stay in or move to the city instead of venturing further afield in search of high calibre homes.
Young first time buyers, families and downsizers have all made Knights Park their home; and properties were built to Lifetime Homes’ standards, making them easily adaptable to suit people at all stages of their lives.
The homes boast family friendly features such as en-suite bathrooms, ground floor cloakrooms and utility rooms or laundry space as standard. The development is close to the shops, post office and facilities of Woolton village.
Knights Park has transformed the site of the old Watergate School, which had been empty and derelict for several years, bringing much needed new housing stock to the area.
As part of the planning agreement, an existing sandstone wall was preserved to create a feature at the entrance to Knights Park and Redrow has given £21,000 to the City Council to help fund the maintenance of off-site public open space. In addition, many new trees and shrubs have been planted on site to supplement existing greenery.
